CCHI was awarded the Kuwait project 4 units of sea-water desalination MED evaporation skid module with the scope of fabrication and transportation. Each skid was about 3,000 tons in weight, more than 50 meters in length and more than 10 meters in height. The evaporation skids consisted of condensers, condensing segments and evaporation segments with more than 400,000 tubes and pipes which is the largest seawater evaporator skid unit in the world. The skids were loaded on CCHI ro-ro dock and deliver to Kuwait site directly.
